Many undergraduates I have encountered initially viewed the MAcc as an easier and quicker graduate degree compared to an MBA. While it may be quicker, viewing it as easier is inaccurate. I choose the MAcc to further enhance my accounting and business skills to prepare for the modern workforce. Additionally, it continues to prepare me and my classmates for the CPA exam with its advanced classes. The MAcc should be viewed as a technical program that equips you to identify, analyze, and complete modern accounting issues. If accounting is your career passion, I would highly recommend inquiring as soon as possible."

Another reason I chose Smeal is because my brother graduated from the program and told me how beneficial it can be. Finally, you can complete the Smeal Macc degree in one year, which is amazing."
